About Me

Graduate student from Florida International University in Miami, Florida. Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology with a Certificate from the Women's & Gender Studies Department.

My passion for Anthropology, as well as, my interest in Women's & Gender issues within the context of global affairs were the incentive to pursue the FIU Global Learning Medallion. 

The years at FIU have been an incredible experience that have prepared me to enter a new chapter in my professional life. Academically, I have been enriched by the wealth of knowledge I have accumulated through core courses of study for my Major; as well as, global learning studies that have given me the opportunity to be more aware and engaged when it comes to global issues.

The Global Learning Medallion  has open doors for me and it has helped me find a path that I will definitely continue to follow in years to come. I feel very strongly that now, more than ever, it is the responsibility of my generation to become citizens of the world.
